Michigan Tech Intramural Sports FAQ
Who can play intramural sports?
Any current Michigan Tech student, faculty or staff.
What sports are offered?
We have a large variety of sports to cater to our entire student population. A full list of sports can be found here.
How do I sign up for an intramural team?
Intramurals sports registration takes a few easy steps. Click this link and follow the steps to create an IM Leagues account. From there it will show you how to join a team.
Can the captain of a team still sign up the entire team or does each individual person have to sign up?
The captain creates the team. However, each team member must then create an IMLeagues.com/mtu account and join that team. The captain then invites friends to join their team through the system. Players may be added at the field as long as they have created an IM Leagues profile.
What if I don't have a full team of people to play with?
You can list yourself as a free agent for that sport. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.
How much does it cost to play intramural sports?
Intramural sports have already been paid for within the Experience Tech Fee, there are no additional fees to play.
When are games played?
Game days and times vary from sport to sport. Once registration is over, the schedule will be made based on the time preferences listed by the captain.
