This course is for people who wish to build on their success with the Tai Chi Prime class. Energizing qigong exercises and basic biomechanics remain as the core of the class, but a more challenging short form is introduced. This course provides the continued benefits of relaxed mindful and efficient body movements and is a gateway of learning the more traditional Yang Style tai chi form. Class size is limited.
Previous experience with Tai Chi Yang Style Form or completed sessions in Tai Chi Prime at MTU. Light, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and breathing. Comfortable shoes or footwear designed for exercise.
About the Instructor
Hilary Sproule is a graduate of University of Toronto (Bachelor of Physical Therapy) and the University of Alberta (Master of Health Administration) and has worked as a physical therapist for over 30 years. She is recently retired from Finlandia University as an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program and is certified in Tai Chi Fundamentals® Adapted Program.
