There are 40 spaces for camping at the race venue. There will be power for RV's and space for tent camping in and around the stadium and parking lot at the Michigan Technological Recreation Trails. If you purchase RV-camping for $20.00, you will get a spot where you can park 1 RV and have access to power. There is one hose on the vicinity where you can get water from. There are also portable toilets which can be used. If you would like to purchase tent camping, you can set up your tent in the specified spots in and around the stadium, you have access to the hose and portable toilets. If you purchase tent - camping this means you get to set up 1 tent and have 1 vehicle (no larger than a standard truck, van or SUV). Both camping options are for one night only, the Friday (9/6/2019) before the Saturday races. If you are setting up a tent, you must also wait to set up your tent until after the 5K running race is completed on Friday September 6th (race starts at 7 p.m.). Also note: an RV permit does not ALSO allow for tent setup. Your RV may not exceed 30 feet. If your RV + vehicle fit within 30 feet you may keep them hooked up; otherwise you will need to unhook your car and either purchase a tent-camping pass (includes a vehicle) or find a place to move your vehicle. Three full-service aid stations will be placed at Tolkien, Nara, and the race start/finish line. The aid stations are located on the course map above. However, it is strongly recommended that you provide your own personal aid equipment. Full-service aid stations will provid food, hydration, and first aid.
Custom-made U.P. placards will be presented to the top three finishers in each race. Sponsor prizes will also be presented to all race finishers.
